Over the years, Mike has developed a number of stories aimed specifically at the very young. He might bring to life a well known tale such as Goldilocks or The Three Little Pigs, using song and sensory  materials to fully engage the children. He increasingly enjoys co-creating stories with the very young: going on a pirate adventure, or exploring an under sea kingdom, using the ideas and excitement of the children to see take the story into uncharted territory!

 

Mike was invited to be one of the artists in residence at the wonderful Penn green Children's Centre in Corby as part of their ArtFull project, a year-long action research project bringing artists into the heart of the Pen Green Centre, working alongside children, families and practitioners. It was supported by public funding through Arts Council England and delivered by Pen Green Centre, Pen Green Research, Development and Training Base, and Made With Many.
